Oooohhhhhh, what a beautiful morning ... In the bluegrass!
Welcome to KT's Kitchen, which in turn is the center of my household. I'm a young stay-at-home-momma with a great husband, two crazy puppies and a big, fat cat. I live in my hometown outside of Louisville, Kentucky, and am pleased to say that somehow, my family's talent for cooking has somehow been instilled in me. I have an aunt that makes beautiful cakes, pies, and other delectables; another aunt that happens to make the best bread in the world and even though she hates it, my mom is pretty handy when it comes to cooking as well.
I'm a huge fan of a very talented Food Network star (but I'll tell you this - I loved her before she was a Food Network star!) that happens to have an adorable southern accent and hails from my favorite city ... So you can say that my cooking/kitchen inspiration comes from her. I own the cookbooks, have dined in her restaurant many times, and even insisted on venturing into the south for my honeymoon because I just had to eat at her establishment.
But anyway, onto bigger, better things! Since I'm opening my blog up today, I thought I'd leave you all with my Must Have list. I always have them on hand (and usually a few extras hidden in a cupboard) and it makes my life in the kitchen a lot easier.
