Magazine idea

This is my first tip.
I have tons of old magazines laying around. So I came up with a solution.
I tear out pages with recipes and crafts my children would like to make with me. And throw the magazines in a recycing bin.
Even if the projects are too advanced for their age, I can just save them for later.
I have created a file system with files for crafts, recipes, learning info, and fun outside games and crafts.
What I do, is just glue the back of the pages together with a glue stick.
So on the front and back there are recipes or craft ideas ideas.
Here's an example I found a cool jello recipe, and tore the page out. Then in another magazine I found a cute candy apple recipe, and tore that page out, and just glued their backs together. So, its really just one page now. It saves confusion of tons of papers all over the place.
If you wanna file even better, you could separate the recipes into sections as well. For instance......desserts, snacks, dinners, etc.
These are definatly fun things for us to do as a family on those rainy days.
Kids love creating things too, so everyone wins!
