One little piggy, two little piggy ...

Morning everyone! As Calloway is taking his first bottle of the day and I have a few free minutes, I'm going to share with you an easy, tasty marinade for pork. I usually buy the 2 pound pork tenderloins and cut it down so I don't end up cooking a 2 pound tenderloin for two people. We like to eat, but my stomach just isn't THAT big.
You Will Need
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- salt, pepper and garlic powder (amounts vary)
- a ginormous bag that SEALS
Coat your pork with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Rub the heck out of it, make sure it's coated on all sides. Poke a few holes in the tenderloin with a fork. Stick it in the bag, pour the soy sauce, brown sugar, and water in the bag and seal it. Proceed to shake the heck out of it. If you have a small child that enjoys doing such things, have them do it. More than likely, they'll wear themselves out by shaking the heck out of said pork and give you a break while they go gather their senses.
Refrigerate for 4-6 hours, turn often and have small child (or yourself) shake it around.
We like to grill it, but it can be baked as well. If you grill it, wrap it in aluminum foil and pour the remainder of the marinade over it before you pinch the top closed. It takes us about 20 minutes to grill it on our gas grill and it comes out PERFECTLY - nice and crispy on the outside and sweet and juicy inside. Mmm ... Pork.
Always,
KT
